What is an Orthopedic Massage with Gary like?
It's like nothing that you may have experienced in the past, nor will experience elsewhere!
It's like a fast trek back before current pain occurred!

The treatment for Tennis Elbow and Golfer's Elbow is easy and effective.  So easy, you can do it in your sleep.

You are feeling pain in your elbow because the forearm flexors and extenders are strong and tight.  They are pulling on the tendons and ligaments that they are attached to and shortening as they thicken toward the center, pulling on the tendons and ligaments, both in the hands and fingers, as well as the elbow. Like a turnbuckle and cables, the only thing that will reduce the stress on the cables is to loosen the turnbuckle.  Therefore, once we release those Pop Eye muscles, the pain will diminish and the arm will heal.

Medial Epicondylitis and Lateral Epicondylitis. Tennis Elbow and Golfer's Elbow arm braces

The only tool that you will need is a Velcro Strap arm brace like those shown, for the arm that bothers you. If your right elbow bothers you, get an arm brace for your right arm. Left arm brace for painful left elbow.

First Close your eyes and picture your forearm like its bread dough. Open them.  The more you knead and massage your forearm muscles, the greater elasticity they will have. Now close your eyes again!  Picture your arm and your hand like it is a two by four that bends at the end. Hold the opposite hand like the American Sign Language letter S,

and wrap your wrist now tuck your

thumb and make a fist.

Look at image, one black!

Hold down the skin and muscles on one

side with your fingers in the direction of

the black arrow, and bend your wrist away

from that pressure. You should feel a stretch.

Then, continue moving towards your elbow,

squeeze the forearm and bend your wrist away

from that pressure.  Down 1, 2, 3, 4, and maybe 5

til you get to just above the elbow, squeezing and stretching as you go.   Then return to the wrist, see position 2 in blue?  Apply pressure to the opposite side  of your forearm, and bend your wrist away from the pressure until you reach above the elbow.  Then return to the wrist, C-green and D red, apply pressure and bend your wrist away from the pressure.   When all is done, put the forearm brace on while you sleep. Repeat the stretching in the morning and continue for the next few days until it feels better! How often?  As often as you think about it,

Pressure Point Massage

What will my doctor recommend?

Your medical doctor might recommend a PRP injection or Cortisone shot.  I have never had a client on my table tell me that the Cortisone shots worked for them.  I suppose if they had, they would not be on my table.  Cortisone does not treat the problem, only the symptoms. If the cause is not properly addressed, how could the symptom relief be anything but temporary?  The Platelet Rich Plasma uses your own blood platelets after they have been centrifuged and reinjected into your blood stream. Again, if the cause of the problem is not addressed, then even amping up the natural healing process won't help. Don't take my word for it. Ask your people!

However, it could be PT!  The Orthopedic Massage that I do can reduce the number of PT visits, saving you both time (time off work, travel time, duration of pain) and money (lost income, gas/parking, copays), and let's not even begin to talk about all of this when surgery is involved. You will need to strengthen muscles in order to fully recover, but long term PT is a waste of your time and money.

Moreover, it could be surgery.  Surgery only begets more surgery. If effective, you will have at best proportional improvement. At worst, you'll be maimed for life.

With my Orthopedic Deep Tissue Massage, you will most likely have full recovery. How? All the tissues under your skin are made up of living cells, therefore you are designed to heal and recover. When you have surgery, there are too many (possibly no more) moving parts. If I mess up, the worst that could happen is that you'll be sore for a few days.  I am a big fan of shorter term physical therapy.

What are people telling me the day after their first, second or third massage!

My clients learn at the end of their first treatment that I will be sending them a text to find out how they responded to their initial (and the following two) treatments!                That's class, right there.   Many other medical practitioners of any stripe will contact you the following day to ask you for a review.           That's classless.  I want to know how you responded to your treatment!!              Then if and only if you had a good response will I ask you for a review.                   I'm kidding.                If you were not pleased, you'll definitely write a negative  review, not everyone understands that this is a different Deep Tissue massage, in spite of the time I take to explain it.  It is, and I will.
